Hatcher-Groover-Schwartz House (Historical Marker)

Built in 1880 by Marshall Hatcher, this is one of Macon's few examples of Second Empire architecture, famed for an octagonal central hall and a free-hanging staircase rising to a rooftop cupola. It joined the National Register in 1971.
