The Story

Honors Sgt. Rodney M. Davis, Macon's Medal of Honor recipient. On September 6, 1967, during Vietnam's Operation Swift, the Marine smothered an enemy grenade with his body, sacrificing his life to save fellow Marines pinned in a trench.
