Mulberry Street Methodist Church

Organized in 1826 in frontier Macon, it hosted the first Georgia Methodist Conference in 1831, earning the name 'Mother Church of Georgia Methodism.' Its Gothic Revival sanctuary was rebuilt after a 1965 fire spared only the stained glass.
