Also recorded as New Ebenezer Cemetery, this burial ground adjoins Jerusalem Lutheran Church, whose congregation was established in 1734 by Protestant Salzburger refugees who founded the colonial town of Ebenezer. It is among the oldest continuously used cemeteries in Georgia, holding graves that trace the German Lutheran community present in the colony's earliest years. The still-active parish maintains the grounds along Ebenezer Road east of Rincon. Find A Grave lists roughly 980 memorials at the site.
