Harrison’s Brigade

Defending this Tanyard Branch ridge at Peachtree Creek on July 20, 1864, was the brigade of Colonel Benjamin Harrison of Indiana, a future U.S. president, whose regiments helped blunt Hardee's Confederate assault near Collier's Mill.
