Confederate Hospital (Barnesville)

Soldiers wounded in the fighting around Atlanta were evacuated to improvised hospitals here in 1864, where 155 Confederates died; they rest in Greenwood Cemetery alongside two Union troopers given equal honor each Memorial Day.
