Park Home and Site of Park’s Mill

Built early 1800s on the Seven Islands Road as a stagecoach stop. When Geary's Federals torched Park's nearby mill in 1864, an enslaved man, Cyrus Park, reportedly saved the house with wet blankets against flying embers.
