Mrs. Beall's Mill

Widowed in 1861 with seven children and a large plantation, Caroline Davis Beall finished and ran this Crooked Creek grist mill in 1862, supplying neighbors and the Confederacy; it survived Sherman's troops and milled into the early 1900s.
