The Bell at Augusta State University

Cast in 1918 by New York's Meneely foundry and inscribed 'Augusta Arsenal, Georgia,' the bell once tolled over the federal arsenal that occupied this Summerville hill. It survives as a relic on the campus that replaced the post.
