Mill Creek Gap (1954)

On February 25, 1864, the Federal 14th Corps pushed from Tunnel Hill to seize this fortified gap but was repulsed by Confederate divisions holding Rocky Face, while a simultaneous assault from Crow Valley was also thrown back.
