Disputed Passage

On July 19, 1864, Union 14th Corps troops slipped across Peachtree Creek on a fallen log near Green Bone Creek, only to be ambushed by Confederate skirmishers on the south bank, a sharp clash on the eve of the Battle of Peachtree Creek.
