National Foundation of Patriotism

The National Foundation of Patriotism is an Atlanta-based nonprofit that grew out of the National Museum of Patriotism, which businessman Nick Snider founded in 1996 out of concern over waning civic pride. After the physical museum closed in 2010 following the economic downturn, the organization reorganized as a foundation to carry its educational mission to a wider online audience. It preserves and presents material celebrating American symbols, service, and sacrifice, including tributes to the September 11 attacks, Medal of Honor recipients, and the history of voting in America. Through digital exhibits and outreach, the foundation continues Snider's aim of promoting an understanding of patriotism and national heritage.
