The Story

Built by the State of Georgia around 1850, this is one of Georgia's oldest railroad depots. It witnessed a Jefferson Davis speech in 1861, the 1862 Great Locomotive Chase, and served as Sherman's first headquarters in the Atlanta Campaign.
